If you have read my story, "When You're Strange", which I used to have posted on dA until I realized it was a bad idea to post anything remotely 'original' (even OC's), please LISTEN UP!
If you are currently using the term that I coined, "Vima" in any of your fics, and you have not credited me with the creation of the word, please amend this error.
If you have not asked me for permission to use the term, then I have not given it to you. To use it without at the VERY least crediting its creator is an insult.
Please either ask me for permission, or at the very least credit me in the chapter notes when you use it in a chapter.
This may seem ridiculous to you, but it has come to my attention that people are using it willy-nilly as if it were ME canon.
As... interesting as that is, "Vima's" origins are as such:
I got the turian word for bond mate from taking the literal latin translation: Vinculum Materia, and combining the two words, then shortening it.Seriously people, this is posted at the top of chapter 10 of "When You're Strange". If you didn't read the Author's Notes, that's not my fault.
But using the term without permission or credit simply isn't kosher. Please fix. Thank you.

I highly recommend if you have seen her on youtube or on google that you take whatever precautions you feel may be necessary.

Also, I want to genuinely thank you guys for the outpouring of support you have all given this issue. This needs to be exposed. Thank you for helping the community to be a better, cleaner place.

UPDATE 4: The account Siha49 is now deactivated! Not sure whether this was the action of the user or of dA, but the newest account, FalareZorah962 is still up. It's not being used much, but I'm going to keep an eye on it.

I now understand exactly why people are leaving this site in droves, and why most of them are pointing their fingers at you. Get off your ass and start doing your goddamn job.

I'll let the report tell the tale of what's been going on here and what this journal is all about, but I would like to spread the word so that people are not fooled by this individual. Hopefully this will help keep others from being harassed into leaving this site. If what you see disgusts you as much as it does me, feel free to join my friends and I in reporting this individual. dA 'support' needs to wake the hell up.

In case you cannot tell, this report is concerning Karliah49, Siha49, and now FalareZorah962.
I and several others have reported this individual over and over again, not only for using copyrighted material and claiming it as her own, but for specifically targeting and harassing and stalking our friend, who is about to delete her account because of this.... 'person', though I hesitate to even gift her with the title.
I myself almost left dA thanks to your blatant lack of caring about art theft, but I decided to stay in a limited capacity, solely to be able to communicate with the people I care about on this site.
I would strongly suggest that you IP ban this individual. I will be actively campaigning against this individual until she is removed from this site. I already have the support of my friends in this. If her psychotic stain is not removed from this site, more people will be harassed and stolen from, and more people will leave because of her.
Is this what you want? If it is, please do feel free to ignore every report I've ever sent in while trying to HELP YOU maintain the integrity of this blasted site.
This is the last report I'm sending in on this woman. If she's not dealt with, I'm gone. I've been on this site nearly six years now, but what I've seen in the past six months with your complete lack of response on this matter of my friend's harassment by this art thief has utterly soured all six of those years.
How you can let a person like this stay on your site is beyond me. This site was supposed to be about artists sharing their art and having a great community to help encourage each others' art, not being stolen from and harassed until they felt compelled to leave because of idiocy.
I'm done. If she doesn't leave, I'm gone.

This journal is about this individual. It also features several posts from this individual that are more attempts at contacting my friend to harass her, yet again. She created the brand new account today and left a comment on one of her pieces. This is the fourth account (that we are aware of) this individual has created, all four featuring stolen art, all four used to harass my friend.

I would list many more examples, but she deleted the accounts she had the other stolen works on. I realize this may not be an overabundance of evidence, but trust me when I say this has been going on for far too bloody long.
It is time it ended.

This cannot be allowed to continue. This individual is not the only art thief and stalker/harasser I've seen on this site, but she certainly is one of the most persistent I have seen. That she drove my best friend to leaving this site through six months of steady harassment is more than enough for me to want her gone. The fact that she is a blatant art thief is merely the icing on the cake.
Please people, if you see someone like this who steals and/or pesters someone until they actually feel they need to delete their account to get some peace, report them. For the love of all that's sacred, report them.
Also, feel free to repost this journal anywhere you think it could be seen, submit it to any group you like, etc. Word needs to be spread that this kind of behavior will not be tolerated.
Book
Well, it's almost done.
When it's done/edited (in a few days) and published (in a few more days after that), I'll be making a new journal to tell you all where you can go to get it.
Keep in mind, it will be for mature audiences only. This is not a kid's or YA book. So, if you're underage, ignore this journal.
If you're of age, I hope you enjoy the book! It'll be a short book, as it's only the beginning to a series of books I'll be writing about these characters, as well as the next generation of characters. But, hopefully despite its brevity (or perhaps because of it?) you'll be able to enjoy it.
I look forward to hearing what everyone thinks about it. Oh, and it will be for the Kindle, through the Amazon Kindle program. So get your Kindles out!
